Fireworks in Kent Saturday no longer canceled

The once-canceled fireworks to close the Kent Heritage Festival are now back on.

According to Kent Patch, Kent Fire Chief James Williams rescinded the cancellation today.

The show was canceled earlier this week after the Ohio Fire Marshall's office released an Extreme Fire Risk Warning statewide on June 29.
