KSU basketball scouting report

Who: Kent State (3-2) at Nebraska (4-0).

When: 9 tonight.

Where: Devaney Center in Lincoln, Neb.

TV/Radio: Big Ten Network ; WHLO (640-AM).

Notebook: This is the fourth and final game for the Golden Flashes in the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic. … The Flashes are coming off a 69-68 thriller over Bethune-Cookman in which Randal Holt nailed a 15-footer with 1.3 seconds left to win the game. It might be a trend-setting game, as coach Rob Senderoff said he has to go to Holt when the game’s on the line in the future. … The Cornhuskers are still perfect (4-0) in 2012 and most recently beat Tulane 61-57. Nebraska has been led by Brandon Ubel, a 6-foot-10 forward who leads the team with 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
