KSU senior Kilgore wins fourth tournament of the season

Fifth-year senior Dustin Kilgore won his fourth tournament of the season, going 5-0 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wrestling Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  

Kent State’s 2011 NCAA champion faced his toughest competition of the season in the finals and came away with a 5-4 victory over Wyoming’s Alfonso Hernandez, improving to 15-0.

Senior 184-pounder Casey Newburg went 5-2 in a fifth-place finish.  Sophomore Caleb Marsh went 3-2 on the weekend at 165, but came up short of a podium spot.
