Kent City Schools to host public meeting on new safety program
Kent City Schools will host a meeting open to the community concerning the implementation of ALICE safety program at 7 p.m. this upcoming Monday at Theodore Roosevelt High School Auditorium, according to the district’s website.
ALICE, which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate, is an emergency response plan. Those who attend the meeting will hear details from the new Community Partnership Team, which features members from the Kent safety, police and fire departments.
